Question. The Starks are claiming that there is no rebellion now and that they are just going to defend the riverlands from the Lannisters. Can I request a ceasefire in the realm and tell the Lannisters to stop the war against the Tullys? Even though this breaks a little bit of lore is it allowed (Its not out of the realm of possibility Joffrey's advisers would negotiate a peace)? At the moment no one seems to be at war with the Crown itself except Stannis. Also Ned is not dead yet and only imprisoned or is this post Ned's death?

Or should we follow the lore exactly?

Its not about following story, but about that your diplomacy/actions must make sense lorewise, respecting your characters and political customs of this world, and simply being rational/realistical in that way...

The Crown wouldn't just forgive a rebellion like this, and neither the other side is much inclined to it, considering Ned is prisoner (And so is Tyrion) and all the other things that happened... Reallistically, it would be impossible to stop the war in this point anyway, when you have several armies fighting on several places... Plus your FL is Joffrey, whose opinions on some things and what he would do in some specific situations are pretty much known...

Everyone that denies the crown in any way is at war with you. Both Renly and Stannis have already declared themselves kings on the first turn (done by admin), thus they are at war with you and each other, any possibility of reconcillation here is pretty much gone too, unless some big things happen... if Renly player wouldn't want to fight you or Stannis or whatever he would be breaking the rules

So we're staying true to lore "War of 5 kings" w/ Stark/Tully/Frey vs Lannister/Joff vs Stannis vs Renly/Tyrell and Arryn/Martell outside of the whole mess for now?

You mean story I suppose, not lore? There is only one lore, which is the lore of the entire ASOIAF (and maybe another created by D and D fan fiction)... But yea, thats the starting position in this scenario (except The Freys and maybe even Tyrells I suppose). However,the story is going to change very soon, as different battles will be fought, different characters will die etc... Also, of course dynasties/family trees gotta be respected too, so if for example Renly died without any kid of his own, the faction would loose any claim to The Iron Throne and so on...
