With the successful sack and pillage of Ispwich, the Viking army moves northeast, hearing word of the King of East Anglia's residence being within vicinity of that area. On the morning, two days after the sack of Ipswich, the Viking host is brought by land and sea to attack the area of Rendlesham. Though the town, itself, wasn't too fortified, scouts from land and sea notice a strong fortification along the River Deban with a gathering presence of soldiers. The King was clearly mustering an army, but the mustering had been rather slow with probably a thousand or less soldiers having gathered to defend Rendlesham or march towards Ipswich.
However, the Viking Army's presence is masked by a morning mist that allows them to approach the camp without raising any alarms. The ships, bearing the rest of the army, land at the mouth of the River Deban to unload additional warriors. If all went according to plan, then perhaps the East Anglian King may be captured. Only a miracle from God himself may save the King from a certain doom.

The conclusion of this event will give our realm half of East Anglia and a foundation from which to build on)
