No because i dont pre order ANY game, let alone one that looks total DOA and the one im not interested in the slightest.

    Disregard RTW2 - acquire Europa Barbarorum 2.

No not since Rome II and from what I have seen I wouldn't like the game either way.

No because they may want to change to Epic Store to and I don't install expensive virus in my PC.

3K peaked today with 162,000 players/50K twitch viewers. The highest number of any TW in history beating both R2 (118K) and Wh1 (113K) and Wh2 (70K)....

I pre-ordered, I am glad I did, even though 3K isnt really an era that appeals to me, but I can play in ultra with 85fps on average, I guess I just wanted to see if my rig could handle the game and it does!
One aspect with is refreshing is the ability for your heros in battle to dual enemy heros, I like that.

Nobody saw that coming! I put in 3 hours today. Lots to learn.
3K needs to have an Avatar Campaign!!!

if i had three hours i would have. I am looking forward to the weekend where i would be free to do so. (wifey is out of town as well).

It has to be CAs most beautifully crafted games (except the original unit cards). There is a lot to unpack, but you are not overwhelmed with a lot of information. The UI is very intuitive.

I am not playing the fantasy mode. I did try the Fantasy saturation, but it just looks too cartoonish. The Historical coloring is a little too dark, so a mod that finds a nice balance would be extremely popular.

beeing sceptic, i was waiting for reviews and was checking out youtube videos from ingame.
pre-ordered it the day before release. as i saw good online prices at 35 bucks. as there is the dlc with turbans included now, i gave it a shot.
reason for purchase was i like the chinese style and i didn#t purchase anything since rome 2. so after skipping: attila, both warhammer parts and thrones, i thought it' s time for.

but btw: if you order first week after release you get that dlC still.
that dlc with the turbans is somehow bugged. many players with preorders didn't receive it so far. guess they have to sort it out.

i did only run benchmarks so far. didn't play it yet. will wait 2 weeks or more until the first patch for bugs is out.

There has been some issues with DLC if you don't get the game via steam. I ordered the LE edition via amazon and didn't get the DLC code.

It’s an era that I’m extremely interested and it seems well-polished, but honestly I still would not preorder any game. As it is the trend with modern games, the early launch is always inferior to later days when it has been patched and bulked up with actual content.

not saying that everyone should do this, without the impatient there wouldn’t be any patching or DLC content.

Interestingly, I was able to preorder games like Witcher 3 and Metro Exodus with absolutely no issues. So I believe it's publisher dependent.

I really wish I was excited enough about the direction CA is heading in but I'm not, their game mechanics get more simplistic with every release. As such, I doubt I'll buy three kingdoms, any time soon (maybe when it's on sale for 50% or 75%) but definitely not full price.

Three Kingdoms is far from being simplistic. Seems CA made quite a u-turn with this game.
