    Default Search function in PFM

    Hey guys,
    Is there a way to search db files in pfm for stuff. Such
    As searching effect bundles for "tyrion" I always mouse wheel through entire file to find things I want. Sorry if this has been answered i look around but didn't see anything.

    I don't know whether there is in PFM itself sorry, but in the Assembly Kit (Dave) you can do a "Search All" function, which shows you all of the tables where that key, eg "Tyrion" is referenced.

    Its in Extra Tasks - Global Search FYI. So for example searching wh2_main_hef_cha_tyrion_0 gives you quite a few results. If you hover over the name of a column, eg in land_units hover over "key", it'll show you what tables are related to that bit. I prefer just using Global Search though.

    I don't use PFM for actual edit.
    I export as tsv, then use Excel to do my edit, and import the tsv back.

    For global search, I use notepad++, and the "find in files" function

    PMF has a filter function which is quite advanced. You can (and should) be using that.

    Just confirming, do you mean PFM or is there a seperate tool called PMF?
