Thread: Starting Treasury Submod

    Default Starting Treasury Submod

    Hi,
    Using ESF editor, I can change to starting treasury from 0 to (anything). Is 10000 a good starting treasury for all nations? This is for the normal campaign, not late.

    Goes in : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War\data\campaigns\Lord_main

    Late Campaign Version thanks to The Despondent Mind: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...1#post15517214

    Does it crash? It works good for me, each nation starts with 10000 in 1700 start. Did you overwrite the old one?

    I did the same for the late campaign, feel free to put in the OP.

    For users, just extract it into wherever your "Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War\data\campaigns\Lord_Lmain".

    You need to put mine in Lord_main, Lord_lmain is for late campaign.

    Sir_Aggelos_GR:
    Download the the ESF editor (version 5 is the best for me, but they do have a version 6);
    Open the ESF editor (make sure you've selected Empire);
    Click and open "File" and Select "saved games" and click on the saved game you wish to edit;
    Click on the "+" sign in the upper right hand corner
    Click on the next ("+) (a list will appear); (select the "+" signs at the beginning of each of the following):
    Click on "CAMPAIGN_ENV;
    Click on "CAMPAIGN_MODEL;
    Click on "WORLD";
    Click on "FACTION_ARRAY";
    Click on the faction at the very top (that will be the faction you're playing);
    Click on the faction that that drops down (a list will appear);
    DO NOT Click on the "+" sign this time, simply click on "FACTION_ECONOMICS";
    To the right you'll see Description - Value - Original Value - Type: Click on the number under the word "Value";
    Manually change the number to the value you want, increasing the number will add money to your faction.
    Close out of ESF and open your saved game. The new value should appear in your treasure.

    I hope this helps.
