Strange. Well, if it works, then I guess we can play on? I say that only hesitantly though. I'm honestly not sure if asking Potatoto to replay on regular files would make a difference.

It shouldn't work that you can load in the normal tatw and the patch version aswell. If Joe set up the cfg file not allowing validation failures, you shouldn't be able to load different saves, as there are changes in the EDU and EDB files, which causes crash, when validation failure is not allowed.

I apologize, I was confusing this game with another game. I just tried to load the turn on the patch files, and it worked. When the enter password screen comes up, it says "Allow Integrity Failures: Yes." So that's the reason.

IMO we should restart to avoid problems later. The .cfg file used to start the hotseat should contain the following entry:

allow_validation_failures = 0

King of Dawn's .cfg file must have been set at 1 for yes instead of 0 for no.

Not a big deal. At least we are catching it early.

Setting were right, but for some reason it just didn't work. With Joe's .cfg file it does work, but we'll have to start again.
Now, you won't be able to run saves in the patched version and vise versa. So if you also play in the HS with the patched version, you'll need 2 data folders!

Those 2 vs 2 hotseats are the old TA version. There is only 1 hotseat on the new patch yet

While it might be more annoying to use 2 different folders for the old tatw files and the new patch, it is better, because if the 2 versions gets mixed it can cause problems later on, as the game goes on, also could be a potential way for abuse.

It seems the timing was a great one, when with joe we finished on our new patch and that King Dawn planned to start new ones. Only the hotseat with the total recruitmen patch name is currently the one using my new work.
