    Default Unit Atlas 'white marks' Issue

    Hi everyone,

    having a problem with atlas files. I'll walk you through the workflow:

    1. I export an atlas file to mod. Let's say I am adding a new kilt to the atlas.

    This is how it looks in photoshop:

    I then save the atlas.dds, and open up PFM to check on it but in PFM it looks like this:

    As you can see there are white marks - leftover from the unitpart that was there before.

    Any idea how to get rid of these? Otherwise I have to use loads of atlas files cause I can only insert about 4 hats/large atlas.

    I'd really appreciate the help - this has bothered me for years and haven't seen anyone else complain about it

    Check the alpha channel, maybe there is a leftover.

    I never use Photoshop for DXT1 work. Paint.Net doesnt cause artifacts on its default settings when you save to dds.

    Thanks for all the advice! Going to stick with photoshop for now though.
