    Hi dvk901,
I was chosen to be beta tester for the first releases of Roma Surrectum (with patch1,2,3) but unfortunately I had heavy problems, forbidding to test it (by the way the PC was switched off for several weeks).
I apologize hoping that didn't gave troubles or made you disappointed.
Back again I am playing Romans and I am on winter 267bc, and I conquered Neapolis (now sieged by Syracuse), Segesta and Patavium. Campaign and battles were and are difficult (playing VH/H) but at the end I succeeded with part of the task.
Maybe it si already solved but I am getting CTD that don't allow me to go on with Romans. As said I am on winter 267bc, I have an army sieging Segestica and after end turn while checking Free People the screen go to Segestica and the CTD happens. I loaded a previous savegame, avoided to siege Segestica, ended turn but what above happens again, without any error message... Now I am starting Gauls (leaving Roman savegame).
Anyway your MOD is awesome and very well made, and looking at previews of the new release my feelings on RS become more and more good.
    To next message
    Margio

Have you got -show_err on the end of your shortcut? That will hopefully reveal what the problem is.

The problem is a missing militia hoplite skin in DMB, if I recall correctly. That was fixed with patch 4. Any Free People city in Greek territory will proabaly have that problem. Your two patches behind margio. I'd suggest getting the latest version and follow install instructions..

Tone, I got -show_err at the end of the shortcut, but nothing after CTD.
Dvk901, thanks for reply, but unfortunately due to problems written I cannot download the patch 4: I have Roma Surrectum and patches 1, 2 and 3. I red that was relased the patch 4 but i didn't find it. Anyway strange, because happens only on Segestica, not on others Free People towns, and only at end turn. I am playing with Gauls, and to check it I rushed to Segestica and I got CTD again at the end of the turn when show Free People symbol...
Better to wait the new release? Continue with my Campaign (Romans or gauls) avoiding Segestica? Is it possible to download the patch 4 somewhere?
Thansk again for help and for let's play Roma Surrectum; really well made, fast loading and playing, graphically awesome, challenging play... one of the best ever played

Hi guys one problem i saw in EB
was when the units left the city i caused a reble bug
I was wondering if you have that taken care of?
By makeing sure if the army leaves that city to set up a small recruiting

This thread is for Release bugs and issues, please, not beta testing or theoretical bugs. I have no idea of any 'rebel bug' in RS.

I just happened to notice a small bug while playing a custom battle, my men seem to have confused tight formation with loose formation nothing major but just thought I'd point it out.

We're aware of that.....have no idea why. We'll try to fix, but once you know, you're right, it isn't all that bothersome.

I got a little problem, i installed your mod on a clean 1.5 RTW, the mod installs with no problem but when i run New.UI.bat it says that it's already running but i'm sure it's not...And because of this problem i can't play the mod..

Edit-Hmm, i maybe have found the problem..Spyware/Virus..Damn things

    *Goes spyware hunting*

Edit2- Found the problem: Worm deleted (I hope) New.UI.bat works now.

The crash was for Rome and it was right after I started the provincial campaign (when it was still a Minor City).

I can't start the game - I downloaded main set & 7a patch, did everything instructed in the Download thread - but Rome only gets as far as showing the first screen with the legionaries on (nice work btw) before CTDing...

Before you say anything, my computer won't let me add -nm -show_err or just -show_err to the target path, because apparently it's invalid.

Any ideas on what the problem is?
    Cheers

Was this a totally clean install of RTW?

It should. Make sure you have a space between the last " and the - of the appropiate command.
What do we mean by patriotism in the context of our times? I venture to suggest that what we mean is a sense of national responsibility ... a patriotism which is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.
