Good work, keep up the work.
It was interesting to compare these illustrations with the Bayeux Tapestry, made around 50 years later. You see a lot of changes in those 50 years.
1. Most of the shields in the illustrations were round shields, only a few kit. In the tapestry they were all kite shields.
2. Relatively few wore armor in the illustrations, and tne armor they did wear only went to the waist. In the tapest4y, most wore arnmor, and the arnmor went to the knees.
3. None of the warriors in the illustration wore a helmut like the one that everyone wore in the tapestry, with a nose guard and a conical shape.
4. While some of the riders had foot stirrups in the illustration, there were some riders shown without stirrups. All the riders in the tapestry had stirrups.
