i started the game on vanilla and then went to darthmod. i still wasnt satisfied.

so i tried the 1.2 u have out and it is by far the best experience i have had with this game yet. i would recommend ur work to anybody!

May as well. Thank you, indeed, Lusted. I've been following this mod since the first release, and I couldn't imagine playing anything else. Until total conversions start hitting the game, I think yours will be the only thing I play.

No, as i've said many times before i don't like the BigMap.

In general and for the reasons you state. I just think it is too big, and i will ont use any map that adds in new provinces until it has been thoroughly balanced.

Maybe it's just me, but it feels like the vanilla map is already bigger (or has a higher scale) than the vanilla rtw map...

Did they change the scale, or did they just use higher-resolution textures + you can zoom in more???

In the end it doesn't matter what they did, but it definitely feels bigger and big enough!

PS: Back in the rtw days the rtw vanilla map felt to small right from the beginning *g*.

Higher res textures and you can zoom in more. The actual Europe part of the map is basically the same size as RTws map.

I do like the size of the vanilla map.

I prefer the Vanilla map, it takes long enough to get around, even an army marching at 10miles a day, which was the average speed of a medieval army, could march the length of italy in 6 months. If you think the map is too small, try and look for moorish family members in NAfrica.
