I've downloaded both files from here but I cannot run the launcher for installation? The file type is iit. So I cannot access or run it. Any ideas?

The download links are still working, I am having trouble to access the google drive account( I forgot some things) but the files are still rar when I download them. A iit extension, isn't that a aborted download? Did you try again? Else, did you try rafmc mega link?

It's standalone, independant. Don't mix the original DBM with this 2.0 or you will likely have problems.

And something we didn't know for sure at the time, but added since then, apply the 4GB patch on your medieval2.exe for steam/ or kingdoms.exe for retail version, before launching the mod, or the new graphics will crash the game.

Modified game exe with the mod can't be provided, would be illegal, so use this patch.

Alternatively, you can try to 'downdrade' (always a relative concept) at least some graphisms with this pack, if you happen to encounter some of these mysterious fatal graphic errors that some people have reported and that we weren't able to reproduce.

edit, don't forget the post install fast fixes. Unless rafmc included them in the moddb download since, I am not sure, but the google drive link has not been updated, this is sure.
