Game Crash when attempting to continue campaign

Installed 2.3. Round 37 as Rome, game crashes when I try to save. Restarted game, still crashes when attempting to continue. Is there anything I can do to continue?

Is the save game from your v2.2 build? If so, old saves won't work with v2.3. Either way, there is definitely a problem with the save game file, so you'll need to revert to an earlier v2.3 save (assuming you have one). Always a good idea to have several saves available so you can start from an earlier point in your campaign if the save is ever corrupted. Unfortunately save game files DO have problems from time to time (and even more frequently if you are relying on autosaves, which is why we disable it by default).
