How many HP does a general have?

I've searched the thread but could not find an answer to this:

How many hitpoints does a general have? Potentially with add-ons like Marks of War, Custom armour, sword, shieldbearer he could potentially have 6-8? How high could Aragorn go?

I just wondered. I'm throwing my top boys into melee combat more and more to stop the Mordor hordes and I want to protect them - maybe I should create a mod for Kevlar?

3 base IIRC rest can be added through traits and ancillaries

I guess and that is only a guess that the cap is 66

I don't know for the base value of HP, but if it's the same as it is for the units, then the maximum amount of HP a general can have is 15. I would however, very much like to know what the attack value is for a general.

Same as the BGs.

I thought so too, but now I'm not so sure of this. I tested it by giving the unit max attack value of 63. The bodyguards then, needed one strike to kill an enemy most of the time, while the general needed a few hits more than that.
