No, I don't really dream.

"牛鬼蛇神的文字" by Fu Sinian on Chinese characters.
("A Cow Demon and Snake God's Writing System")
"汉字不灭,中国必亡" Lu Xun also on Chinese characters.
("If Chinese Characters don't die, China will perish")
That is probably most people. The amount of times I remember my dreams are probably 10% or 20% of the time.
Usually nightmares involving war or prison camps
I was never a soldier but man I'd hate to lose my freedom like that...
Hitler was one messed up POS and anyone who wants to emulate him or any dictator for that matter.

So you were a Nazi prison guard? What have you done in the dreams?
Maybe conducting much needed scientific experiments, eg to verify if people die when you decapitate them.
But if they do succeed, which part should remain alive? In our old stories it's the headless body. Either way his dream would be turned into a real nightmare, heh.
Not both I hope, I had terrible memory with decapitated roaches.
For years I had one nightmare that would make an appearance like twice a year.
It's reminiscent of the movie "Gremlins" in a way. I'd discover or be given this little blue birdhouse. Soon though I learn there's some kind of terrible, dark little creature living inside of it. Its hard to describe it, dreams being how they are, but it's sort of like an awful version of Nibbler from Futurama. It's not campy and silly like the Gremlins. It spends the dream tormenting and attacking me, trying to stab me with scissors or slit my achilles tendons.
It only stopped when the dream became so common that I began to consciously recognize it as I dreamed. So I'd see the little blue bird house, recognize it as a dream and use my lucidity to just fly off somewhere and bang the first woman my subconscious would generate for me.
Everything was fine until the last paragraph. Cheap.
I would be close to waking up and believe I was at work/school when it was the weekend. Or I'd wake up thinking I was back somewhere where I wanted to be but no.

yes I have one
it's me sitting on a comfortable sofa, thinking about how much I have worked and feeling good because I'm going to enjoy the results of my efforts, when the postman came in and bring me a letter from the Tax authorities, telling me that I do not only have to pay about 65% of taxes on a daily base, but that since I worked hard and I earned more money, now I have to pay an extra 12% and probably more.
I woke up and I found that I was not sleeping at all

I always have the same nightmare, every night: that Kyriakos will make a thread called "Did you ever have a recurring dream/nightmare?"
It's horrifying! Just whore-frying, I tell you.
I often dream the same dreams, that is, they are repeating. Very often, actually, and occasionally I even realize I am continuing the story (though very rarely I am aware it's a dream), though sometimes it just replays all over again (and on very rare occasions I have a feeling things simply must proceed in certain way because that's how the story goes). Sometimes, if I remember them, it is easy to deduct that they are the things I fear or the things I hope for or wish were possible "coming true" in the dream. From mundane things to irrational fears and fantasies. But I usually forget the dream within minutes of waking up, as soon as I start dealing with daily matters.
