    1st place in the Compilations and Overhauls Mod category in 2017 Modding Awards
    2nd place in the Overhaul/Mod category in 2018 Modding Awards





    This mod is situated in 1718 AD, when starting the War of the Quadruple Alliance. The King Felipe V of Spain, refused to abide by the resolutions of the Treaty of Utrecht of 1713; which had to give Milan to the House of Savoy, Flanders and the South of Italy to the House of Habsburg and Gibraltar to England.

    After the belligerent policies of Felipe V on Sardinia and Sicily, in 1718 was signed in London the Treaty of the Quadruple Alliance, formed by England, France, the Netherlands and finally the House of Habsburg; where is declared the war to Spain.


    Version 2.0 (29/03/2018)
    - Added more than 40 new units.
    - Added 30 new naval units.
    - The Thirteen Colonies faction disappears and are transferred to Great Britain.
    - Has been changed the campaign to 4 turns per year.
    - Balanced some stats of units.
    - Added some minor factions in custom battle mode.

    INSTALLATION:

    Download Link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/3eslf...a56/WQA_v2.rar

    Should first make a backup copy of the original campaign of the game, "\data\campaigns\main" folder. In the .RAR file you will find two folders, data and scripts. The first (data) must be copied in the game path, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War" and the second (scripts) in "C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire"

    IMPORTANT: To display the new unit names and descriptions is needed the Unit Pack Compatibility Project - Empire (UPC-EMP)

    Hello. What is your plan with this submod? Are you planning to develop it further - like changing stats, adding new skins, new unit cards and new units...?

    Sounds interesting, does this change the starting armies at all? Would love to have an empire mod that just lets you start out fighting the massive wars of the early 18th century instead of doing the slow TW build up.

    Hello guys. Exactly, polish the campaign with some units to factions who need it and balance stats to improve a bit the battles, for now being I have modified in some troops and ships morale, stamina, etc... And what I have pending is reviewing why generates me the EsfEditor a "startpos.esf" file corrupt if I clone units, in fact I wanted to start with a good consignment of ships in the Mediterranean for confronted them.

    Nice! Better year to start the campaign. The default campaign it doesn't make sense, there is no succession war, they should have fixed the year 1713

    Thanks! True, moreover in the vanilla, the Spanish faction begins with a "dead" King.

    Indeed, it gladdens me as I don't have to trowl through pages and pages of mods that haven't been updated or worked on, and they're so many good mods for Empire. So keep up the good work!

    UPDATED. The mod has been updated to version 2.0 with new adjustments in the campaign and now includes more than 70 new units thanks to the collaboration of Swiss Halberdier.

    Thanks for the credits and it was a nice collaboration.

    To all WQA players:

    It is mandatory to use my newest Unit Pack Compatibility Project - Empire (UPC-EMP) version to display the unit names and descriptions. I updated the UPC-EMP today.

    Have fun with the new 2.0 update and the units.

    Hello Sulpicius. Bran Mac Born has many packs that modify AI behaviors, several are for the DarthMod and for other mods too. Which one do you refer exactly?

    Thanks Miguel_80 . I was looking at his Volley Fire version All infantry use mass volley fire. Better AI response- this mods unit size and stats to make longer battles.

    However,he does have a file which just mods the campaign/battle AI with no unit changes.

    Is the effect much noticeable? I suppose it's compatible with all units, right?
