Along the northern coast of Seagard, thousands of Ironborn raiders have gathered to their Lord's rallying call. A miles long strip of forest conceals the twin hosts of Dalton and Veron; as has become his custom, the Greyjoy Lord has left his veterans under the command of his favored brother, himself taking charge of the more...dispensable portions of Pyke's legions. Tents and hammocks, strewn haphazardly within the trees as a sort of makeshift camp, were occupied by men both young and old, who were mostly set to eating, drinking, sleeping, and whoring. Some had been here for a week or longer, confused but unquestioning about the situation.

Dalton had hardly slept since he'd arrived the morning before, and spoken even less. His eyes were fixated on the sea's horizon; at first sight of his fleet, nearly every reaver under the Lord Reaper's command would bridge the channel to northern Riverrun and bring bloody vengeance upon Elmo Tully's head. "You there, summon my sister."

Alannys Greyjoy had led the first arrivals and had been enjoying the camp's leisures to their fullest. She had grown accustomed to the pleasures here, and had begun to have fantasies of how she might engineer a stalemate in the region, that she might be ordered to maintain this whorehouse of a forest indefinitely. She was gruff to be called from her tent, and approached Dalton briskly. "What."

Dalton's voice was cold and steady. "Ready a horse. You will ride south to Raventree. A carriage has departed from Seagard; you will converge and arrive together to convert Willem Piper to our side, by force if necessary."

Annoyance washed over Allanys' face. "A simple enough job. Send someone else."

The hint of a smile emerged from the corner of Dalton's mouth. "Your betrothed would be insulted. And before you run to him, Veron has agreed; one must be spared to mediate in the region. Do this, and I will allow you to return to Pyke to drink and whore your youth in to an early grave. Now go."
