    Yes!

Was wondering, by the 3rd century were all legionaries wearing pants/long sleeves? Or was it just for the colder climates. I really dont know.

In my opinion pants were pretty widespread, in the North maybe associated with leg bindings for climatic reasons, while in the South it's possible they wore those large fitting pants commonly associated with Late Antiquity.
But this is just a personal feeling, nothing more.

I've noticed some beautiful segmented armor of Newstead type .. it's all so GREAT!

Hey, these look great - nice job! Aurelian's pteryges fit nicely with that last reference artwork for the cavalryman.

I was thinking of doing Third Century Roman generals for all of the major and minor Roman factions (e.g. Rome, Gallic Empire, Palmyrene Empire, Britannia, Hispania, Lusitania, Egypt etc) for Empire Divided as part of my AAA Generals series (generals who change VMDs based on their rank / age / season. For rank, a general starts off looking like a junior-officer who has been given their first command and has no experience, but gradually equips better, more expensive or ceremonial-style armour as his rank value rises) - making them more immersive while maintaining a degree of historical accuracy - but couldn't really find any good references for them.

Does anyone here have any good references (artwork or re-enactment) for Third Century Roman officers / commanders that I can base the looks on for each of the Roman factions' general appearances? If need be, I can make some new assets specifically for them if they don't exist as well.

Vir clarissimus Leonanard, excellent devotion to the cause. I made the mistake of purchasing, just yesterday 'Empire Divided', but now at least there is hope of proper Romans. Thank you

Will we be seeing these troops armed with spears? Which perhaps a light armed variant armed with lancari?
PS. Do I assume these legions go across into Gaul and the East too?

I am not planning on adding any new units, only replacing models of existing ones
