Custom battle unlock

Does anyone know how you unlock factions for custom battles now this latest update? It used to be simply ticking two boxes but that doesn't work anymore.

Its still the same way. You tick the 2 boxes (mp republic early/late) and you have to add units to their custom battle roster permissions.

Hi, are you sure nothing's changed because I done what you've suggested and the factions (Byzantium & Persia from WoS) still won't show up in the custom battle menu. Some modders were saying it's changed now because of the DLC selection option they've added in custom battles.

You probably also need to add them to faction to campaign - I forgot about that table.

Just to clarify, to unlock a faction for custom battle I need to edit:

faction_to_campaign_junctions_tables - faction_to_campaign_junctions
faction_tables - factions (tick the two boxes)
units_custom_battle_permissions_tables - units_custom_battle_permissions (to add units)

For some reason whenever I rename the 'units_custom_battle_permissions' in my mod (as I've been told you have to) it turns blue and then crashes the game on start up if I try to add units to it. I don't know what's going wrong.

I have the same problem after the update - the faction works in the campaign, but doesn't in the custom battles. Perhaps something's wrong with the unit tables?

Something's definitely changed. What's weird is that I can unlock the factions (they show up in custom battle) I just can't add any units to them without breaking the mod. I'm sure it's something to with the tab units_custom_battle_permissions turning blue when I try to edit it.

Managed to get it work - turns out there's a new DB table called faction_to_campaign_junctions_tables, you need to put your faction in there too for it to work in the custom battles.

Yeah I've got it working now as well, I'd simply deleted thing's I shouldn't have.
