Yep. I'd recommend ANY mod made by steam user Celticus (aka Gravemind). He's still cranking out top notch content. His mods are great supplements for DeI.

Generally speaking, most graphics mods are compatible as long as they aren't modifying the same thing.

Also GEMFX has a preset that works very well with DEI called Ad Finitum. There are a lot of good graphic mods and it comes down to personal preference really.

This. Plus particle effects and extended particles for dust. And Mech Donald's blood textures.

Obviously I use Gem and blood textures. Extended particles is also really good mod it adds a lot to enjoy battles more, but I never saw any real improvements with Water and Terrain HD, maybe something is wrong with my eyes haha. I use Extreme settings.

Ah yes, oh course gentleman! How could I forget enhance and/or extended particles? A must have for sure. Though, my tin can rig can't really handle extended particles as much as I'd like. I hope Sheridan is ready to update it right away. It really brings the battlefield to life.

I used GEM for years, but ReShade seems to give me better results; albeit only slightly. Either way, GEM or ReShade are a must as well.

Enchanted Particles mod is working like a charm, no need for any updates.Just make sure you're using the ''Visual_Effects.pack'' version

That's right! Thankfully the ED update didn't effect either of the particle mods. I couldn't imagine playing without them nowadays.

I can't play without it as well. Particles are addictive I guess.

Below is what I am running and listed in the load order for everything to work. I also use a ReShade 3 preset I made which I have attached to this post.

These 2 are "movie files". I had to make a small edit to MDs for compatibility with the Dust effects but it was a simple edit.
I've attached it to this post.

When I saw this message I thought 'can't be THAT addictive'. I was so wrong, so naive.

Very helpful post Astro. I wasn't aware of better ability icons submod. I'll try it out for sure.
I need to spread some Rep around, before I could Rep you again though.
Are they all DEI compatible and tested, right ?

    Cheers buddy.

    Cool

As far as I can tell, from checking in PFM and MM, and playing the game these are good to go in the load order provided. (The load can be moved around some once you are familiar with the contents, but the above order will work correctly)

If you find any good ones let me know too.

Does anyone know if ReShade is better than GEMFX or are they equally powerful?

And if anyone knows if GEMFX is working properly with all the latest updates to DX12 and all, that would be nice to know.

Ive tried both and overall like GEM better for my tastes. IMO, GEM is a bit more crisp. Reshade is good though and I like that you can adjust settings in real time. I'd say try them both.

Thanks mate. Is GEM working OK for you with DX12?
