Can't start Rome 2

Hi everyone,

Since i got the new patch i can not start the game. I only get a steam notfication that the ROme 2 EmperorEdition doesn't start dueto Errorcode 16 and that the server can't load.
All my other total war games work just fine.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I am not using any mods. It also says that the steam server is overloaded. Attila works fine though. Is it maybe because of my Anitvirus software?

Have you tried to play Rome 2 TW in offline mode and/or not using Steam cloud for gamesaves?

Also, try to verify game cache in Steam.
