'unit_stats_land' File Question
Hi again, you will all be familiar with this file, but there is one column that is stumping me. The column is the one titled "artillery_model" Where are the models?!
I'm working on a British Siege Artillery pack based on what was available to Wellington in the Peninsular, held in Britain or was quartered in Gibraltar, Malta, Madeira or anywhere in Europe. I have found the actual war & recruiting location of every one of the batteries.
I've got 18-lbers, 24-lbers, Coehorn, Royal, 8", 10" & 13" mortars all using existing models. I've written in 8" and 10" howitzers & 68-lber siege guns, but my problem is reflecting these three guns using existing models.
My query is this.
Currently I am using the "unicorn_20" for the two big howitzers, and the "naval_carronade" for the 68-lber. It sort of works, but i was wondering whether there is a full list of the available artillery models?
I found some very interesting files:
model_artillery_cannon_24_pounder
model_artillery_cannon_24_pounder_early
model_artillery_cannon_3_pounder
model_artillery_fort_24_pounder
model_artillery_fort_32_pounder
model_artillery_fort_carronade_64_pounder
model_artillery_howitzer_12_pounder
model_artillery_howitzer_24_pounder
model_artillery_howitzer_32_pounder
model_artillery_mortar_4
model_artillery_mortar_8
model_artillery_naval_42_pounder
model_artillery_naval_carronade_64_pounder
model_artillery_siege_cannon_64_pounder
Are these the same as "artillery model"? And can they be used? And if so, how?
Many thanks,
Dave
