    Default RX 570 4GB or RX 580 4GB.

    * mod pls dont move yet to tech since it's almost dead there.

Ok, got good offers for 2nd hand GPUs, both with 2+ years warranty (both Sapphires which have 3 years warranty) and also 7 days personal warranty.

The price difference, about MYR 15
30 (USD 20?). Should I get RX 580 or stick with cheaper RX 570 since I'm only gaming on 1080p?

Personally I think 580 is wasted if only 4GB version but the price offered is interesting. New ones cost much more and difficult to find stock because of mining.

I primarily play TW games anyway nowadays. No longer have time much for other games.

    Any suggestions? Ideas?

I wont go QHD though I may get a freesynch monitor later so should I spend a bit for RX 580 or just stick with RX 570?

    570 is Pulse while 580 is 580 is nitro+.

570 price is MYR 1020 and RX 580 is MYR 1150.

New ones are selling around MYR 1300 (RX 570) and MYR 1500-1600) for RX 580 8GB. I think RX 580 4GB are selling around MYR 1400 though difficult to find stock.

To be honest, you'd be better off with the cheaper version for Total War. I'm running a GTX 680 SLI with only 2GB VRAM and I can still achieve pretty much high quality detail in both Warhammers, running at 2K resolution. 4GB should be plenty, just remember it also depends what processor you have.

I'm using i5 3570 now though next upgrade will be cpu (ryzen 1500x or 1600).

Anyway I've got 570 anyway since the 580 was already sold. So far pretty well. Getting good and stable framerates compared to my prevous rx 560.

I guess this thread can be move to tech now.

Lestat, please be advised that 4 GB VRAM sounds much but new games have very high demands on VRAM, even on FHD, not even speaking about QHD / UHD. Unfortunately RAM prices are enourmously high and still climbing, also for VRAM.

Yeah. My game (Warhammer) usually use around 3.5 GB vram during battles. On campaign, it uses less vram but somehow uses a lot of system RAM, almost 6 GB.
