Need 3dsmax-expert for new model

I am trying to create a new model which should look like the Kartlian Axemen from Rome2. Unfortunately i can't handle 3dsmax. So if someone wants to try you are welcome.

I want to take an axe model (1) from a unit and shoulder plates (2) from another unit and add it to a third unit (3) ( as you can see below).

i have this unit made. kartli axemen for rome 1. i use tutorial for weapon swapping is easy.
