Upkeep

Wondered if anyone could make a player only no upkeep mod? It makes the game play more at my own pace knowing I don't have to worry about upkeep.

I set the upkeep of all units to 0.
Did a quick test in the campaign, seems to work fine. Be warned though, I have no idea how the AI will handle this change.

Is it only for the player or for the AI as well?

Because I think that if the AI gets no upkeep as well then it will really mess up the game

I just noticed you said "player only".
Here's a second file which only sets the upkeep for the player to 0.

Hmm, it seems that I am still getting some upkeep, maybe from lords and heroes?

The upkeep is because every extra army you have in the field, increases your total upkeep by 2%. He set the upkeep to -100% which is all well and good as long as you only have 1 army in the field. I altered the mod to be at -200%, so assuming you don't get more than 100% upkeep penalties, you should have no upkeep from your armies to speak of.
