Thread: Taxila start

    Default Taxila start

has anyone had any success with a Taxila campaign? it seems like i either have to have insane luck moving on all of the seluecid satraps. or sit in my corner in an imcomplete province waiting 50+ turns for them to rebel. any tips (besides softcore submode) would be greatly appreciated. i really want to play an eastern faction that isnt parthia or "half greek"

Join a war - You can join a fraction that is at war with seleucidia and its satraps and declare war to only 1 satrap

From my own experience in my current Bactria campaign, you have one option.

Conquer around the satraps and wait for a faction from their north to start drawing their attention that way. I ate up the nomadic factions first and then moved on the empire when Taksashila came roaring up from the south with their own empire. (see? it CAN be done )

So Arabia or an early end to the campaign.

On my playthrough I took Arabia and Africa first. They are extremely good sources of income and pretty easy to defend/ keep happy
