How to enable unit banners?

I'm just in the process of trying this mod for the first time and i would really like to re enable the unit banners.Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

I think its a preference in the prefecrence.txt file. I don't know what its called, maybe "Show unit flags" but you change it from FALSE to TRUE

I didn't like not having flags either but you might get used to it and like it. Theres nothing more fun than having to rely on your eyes and ears while watching total chaos and hoping no ones going to rout on you.

Edit DartHMod.cfg...find line show_banners = 0 and change it in show_banners = 1. Save changes and when start game you will have banners.

Strangely though it only solved the problem when i altered the main M2TW preference rather than the Darth one :hmmm:

There is a file called medieval2.preferences.cfg in the main folder. You can open this with Notepad and make changes to the file.

Unlike the descr_srat.txt file it isn't set up to be read-only.

Yeah thats right Brusilov.

I'm still not sure why installing the mod changed it.Hope you get it sorted out comrade55.
