    I have a small problem with spanish version of the game; the scottish and east_european voices of the game doesn't work in my spanish version of the game.
    The only question is what can i do for move the voices into another accent.
    Or if you can do it.
    I have modified descr_sounds_accents but with doesn't solution

    Great to see you're still working on this
    DL'd and installed OK.
    Had it up and running playing as the English - couple of minor annoyances - presence of fyrd spearmen, merc huscarls england, yeoman longbowmen and fyrd spears as rebels in Ireland
    Was working fine, load / save 3 times however on save 4 on Turn 63 it crashed with an unspecified error.

    (Had just killed off a large rebel army, the remains of the last Scottish army. Then moved some units and had finished turn, then tried to save.
    Will see if the auto-save works tomorrow.)

    I don't know if the crash is related to the errors with the garrison script or something else.

    UPDATE

    Luckily I was able to load he saved game and continue the game, I've also put trace on in the cfg so next time I should be able to catch the problem
    (no auto-save though ?)

    I have found that game tends to crash quite often when I try to perform a battle with a city or castle nearby.

    First - congratulations! I haven't expected a new release of the Titanium. I'm very much surprised with the richness of the features. Wow! Thanks for your work.

    I've got a few questions:

    1) the Soulson AI description says it should not be used with the BGR. It was, however, written in 2011 and for the SS6.4. What do you think about the set of options I've chosen (including Soulson and BGR)?

    2) free upkeep and the buildable forts: I've experience from the HURB that it's a source of exploit: you are basically hiring every better unit you can and put it into a fort with 0 upkeep. Are there any mechanisms preventing such hoarding of good troops (maybe a maximum cap of the units in game?) I admit 5000 fl. is a lot of money, but if you can pack there for free 2 feudal units with upkeep 600 each per turn, then it pays back soon. And it's nice to have such excellent reserves.

    3) In the description to the 0.9 version you've mentioned: -Partially reworked anti traits to avoid some nasty engine/game bug, so far onlypriests and most of the princess/wife traits have been changed
    Do you mean the NoGoingBack and AntiTrait bugs? It's also something I'm considering in the SSHIP.

    4) On this topic: what is actually the Courtisans Ladies submod gameplay-wise meant for? As I understand, they cannot marry FL, FH and non-family generals. They don't carry bloodlines. Thus they're meant to be 1. diplomats (but the normal diplomats are cheaper, aren't they) 2. assets to strike alliances with the AI factions, 3. slightly better wifes for your FMs to give good traits (still pretty expensive), 4. wifes for your FMs who you'd like to transmit legacy (and possibly bloodline) to their children. Am I missing something?

    I've started a game with Soulson AI, BGR_IV, Limited Activities, Longer Assimilation, Courtisans Ladies, Minor Settlement Script, G5 Hardcore adon.

    I've restarted the game and the next time I've managed to continue for a few turn. However, I've started also games with Byzantines and with Hungary - and there're CTDs everytime, but each time on the following try I managed to play (at least one turn)

    However, with 1139 it was different. Every campaign with Georgia ended up a CTD, at the same point just at the start (I could see the falling message windows on the left and then it crashed). The first was with the following log:

    Then I've switched off everything but the Soulson AI. I've managed to get to play Georgia. Then I've added only BGR_IV - and it crashed as before. Then I've turned on everything as before, but switched of the BGR_IV - and it worked.
    Then I've used Grakul AI and BGR_IV - identical crash.
    So the conclusion is: it's the BGR_IV which causes this crash. Alas!

    Playing 1139 campaign with England (with BGR_IV and Soulson) it was only slightly different as the following happened but not immediately, but during the first turn:

    IIRC in the old days (when i was actively modding Stainless Steel), there was a problem with the game randomly crashing after an hour or two's play.
    Memory issues.

    I played for just over an hour today, and had a fatal graphics error this time when I tried to fight a battle, with myself, French (1 and a half armies) against a German held town (half an army)
    I was on normal unit size, and I toned down the graphics to medium for some settings.
    I have 8GB RAM, and an GTX 960 GPU. (2GB RAM or maybe 4GB not sure.)

    I'll try re-fighting it.

    Typically the situation could not be replicated as it was several turns from the last save.
    Generally save before each city / castle battle would be a sensible precaution.

    IIRC I haven't chosen any of those and I'm playing England and apart from CTD after 90 minutes plus play it seems stable.

    Trying to add sub-mods to the game inevitably increases the risk of crashes due to incompatibilities between sub-mods, especially when there's a lot of them.

    I'd go for the basic game first, and then if that proves stable, add sub-mods one at a time.

    Actually fought a big fort battle, attacking with 4 armies (1 English, 1 Danish, 2 French) against 1 defending HRE.
    Apart from being a bit laggy (as you'd expect with about 5,000 soldiers on the battlefield) game managed to fight through to the end without any snags.

    The result was never in doubt, but the defenders put up a stiff resistance.

    ok I've got to the point where I'm fed up with these fatal graphics errors.
    Had one defending Alexandria. Fought one battle without issues.
    Second army immediately beseiged me, so I had the same troops as before, only fewer of them.
    AI army was also smaller.

    I don't know if any of the above is responsible for the FGE.

    But I'm curious as to why the game is looking for english banner textures in a egypt/variations/south_european folder ?

    (England was fighting egypt at the time in Egypt.)

    The errors happened before battles, not after them, right? I recall it to be the worst experience from the RTW to wait after a battle if the engine returns to the game, or if there'd be CTD... As far as I know there're after-battle CTDs in the M2TW due to the NumEnemiesInBattle, but it's not used in the Titanium.

    btw, how did you play 4 armies agains 1? You controlled one army, and the AI 3 other, right?

    I'm very much into playing a long game with the BGR_IV features... but I fear for stability, indeed.

    For the moment I think:
    - I have to chose one of the AIs, so Soulson.
    - I may skip Limited Activities, I can replicate results by myself.
    - Longer Assimilation - this something I've always wanted to have, the SSHIP is pretty good on high-level unrest.
    - Ladies seem to be long in the game, and Melooo is expert on it, so it should be fine. On the other hand, it actually don't add so much.
    - Minor Settlement Skript... no idea how it works and how risky can it be. Perhaps I'd skip it.
    - G5 Hardcore - I think it impacts only on the battles, and I'm quite anxious to play with it.

    Yes Crashes happen at start of battle.
    From memory used to be down to having large units (mine are all normal size) or inadequate GPU - I think a GTX960 should cope, with 8GB of other RAM.
    Or the program is looking for a file and can't find it.

    Or it's a cache issue - the program has used up all its cache memory and has an overflow. (I think that's how it works.)

    Anyway without an autosave, it means saving every turn at the start and that quickly gets tedious.

    Yes the 4 army battle was with me controlling the english and the AI controlling the French and Danes.
    French had one army with siege equipment and I had 5 catapults.
    AI used the French army to attack straight off. The other two AI armies did nothing until I changed their stance to aggressive.
    I attacked with my army when the first French army lost its commander and fell to pieces.

    Ill see if I get the same problems with other factions.

    I've got a habit of saving the game every turn and before a battle, so that's not a problem for me. I think we should get rid of autosave and the "trace error" (or whatever) phrase in the .cfg. If there're no crashes after the battle, then it's not such a problem.

    I wonder when Meloo will check the thread. The only info I can infer from his entry is December

    OK another crash for no apparent reason.
    Playing as Denmark. Got to turn 48. Had fought a few battles. Then when it was the AI faction turns it got as far as the Independent States, and crashed.

    Graphic glitches happen to me as well. But I can live with them.

    Auto-save - as the EBII team worked out, the autosave is one of the sources of the CTDs so they need to be disabled. Easy to do in the .cfg. However, in another mod (DLV) autosave actually saved my day as the CTD happened after autosave, but before my move. So I'm not sure what is better.

    However, the problem I've surprisingly stumbled upon are the turns' times. With a quite new computer and Win10 I didn't expect it. But:
    Playing the very first turn with France:
    - Titanium without BGR: 130 sec.
    - Titanium + BGR_IV: 270 sec. - but! I'ver run Titanium on a different computer, a worse one (i5 instead of i7, 4GB not 8GB RAM, same Antivirus, same 64system etc.) and it was 120 sec.
    That's a lot as I compare it to the lighting fast turns in BC or DLV, or the SS modifications not using BGR:
    - SS-HURB + BGRII : 25 sec.
    - SSHIP without BGR: 55 sec.
    - SS-BtfB + BGR_IV: 140 sec.
    I checked three turns with a SS-BtfB+BGR_IV game after 100 turns, and that's 555 sec., 460 sec., 505 sec. Almost 10 minutes.
    I've also played a SS-HURB-BGRII game after 70 turns, and it was 120 sec. (the other turn lasted 300 sec., but it froze for like 150 sec. with the Byzantium, so perhaps it was just an exception).

    In BC-B&S: 23 sec. on turn 1, rising to 80 sec. at turn 100.
    In DLV-BB: 18 sec. on turn 1, rising to 40 sec. at turn 40.

    Maybe there's something with my computer and it's possible to optimize it, but otherwise the BGR_IV might be unplayable.

    TBH I've never played SS6.4 with BYG_IV so can't compare it with anything.
    Does look like it's unplayable.

    I'm still getting CTDs after an hour or so of playing.
    Latest one was at the end of a Castle battle.
    I attacked and won, and no sooner had the win been announced than it crashed.

    I don't know whether the G5 BAI is to blame or the game hit another snag when it tried to do something after the battle.

    The fact that the CTD seem to happen for no apparent reason suggests that it's a general instability in the game, rather than anything specific to SS6.4 or Titanium.
    All that mods do is use up more space quicker, so the game crashes sooner than usual.
    (Well that's my theory anyway.)

    Actually, I experience multiple crashes in the game, in different mods.
    I have the feeling that Microsoft has changed something in Windows what prompts problems.
    I also experience shorter turns times on another computer, a worse one, so maybe bygIV would be playable, I'll see.

    The annoying thing is that sometimes the trace log shows no errors and still the game crashes .
    Such as happened to me tonight.
    I only played 2 turns, besieged a wooden wall city, fought a long battle (ad lost) against city with 3 supporting armies.

    Game crashed just after the announcement that i had lost but before battle results screen.

    iI'm playing with normal size units, on a system with 8GB of RAM.
    Task manager is showing the game using 1.3 GB of RAM.

    Only recommendation I have is to remove from mod anything that takes up a lot of memory.

    I'll test a vanilla m2TW and see how long it plays before falling over.
