    Hi
    Terry crashes when i run it, I asked some bodies and they have similar problem, there is some one to answer me pls! what is the real reason of the crash?!!

    's ed yo.

    Terry broke ages ago (like over a year) and Creative Assembly never bothered to patch it. We are talking about the campaign map editor right?
    TEd, which is the custom battle map editor still works fine though.

    I think in Warhammer they renamed TEd to Terry, and removed Terry itself altogether which causes confusion. (so Warhammer has a custom battle map editor, but no campaign map editor)

    It seems to be called Terry in some places and TEd in others, even though they're two seperate things. Even CA mixes and matches the names when talking about the same thing.
    This is what the custom battle map maker, TEd.AssemblyKit.exe looks like (apparently it was made for dual monitors).


    The campaign map editor is completely broken and crashes when you try to launch it.

    Because Creative Assembly never bothered to fix it after a patch broke it.

    You can just manually edit the raw data and process it in BoB. It's a pain in the ass to do but it's better than nothing. I did it for my mod, The Long Night.

    I was talking to him on Steam so I can answer that now.
    What DETrooper has managed to change so far is effects, models, lighting and weather. Basically he's added icebergs around England as seen above, and made a desolate area that rains ash.

    He hasn't worked out how to create models that are impassable (eg something like The Wall from Game of Thrones), or how to move around settlements.

    I saw a Reddit post a while ago that suggested a kinda-ok workaround for adding new settlements though, if you're interested.
