Hi guys,

I'm currently experiencing a frustrating problem. Literally every single time I load the game and enter the campaign map, my entire PC is shutting off without warning. It is like I have pulled the plug suddenly. No crash, no warning message. Just a sudden turn off. Then my PC won't turn back on for 5 minutes afterwards.

Now the reason I am posting this here is I am not experiencing this problem while doing anything else on my PC except trying to load this game. At least not yet anyway.

I know this sounds like a simple overheating problem, but I installed speccy and I was monitoring my CPU heat the last time I tried to load the game, and my PC temps were 30-40 degrees C seconds before the shutdown. They were all in the 'green zone'. I also have every fan I can find currently blasting my PC from all angles.

It is also worth noting that I have been playing this game for around 2-3 weeks now, and this has only started happening in the last 4-5 days, becoming more gradual to the point now where the game is completely unplayable for me.

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro with an SSD too. Here are my basic specs from speccy:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-6100
Zambezi 32nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASRock 970 Extreme3 (CPUSocket)
Graphics
32W_LCD_TV (1920x1080@30Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Storage
232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD)
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-00BN5A0 (SATA)
Optical Drives
ATAPI iHAS120 X
Audio
High Definition Audio Device

My SSD, RAM and OS are brand new. My Graphics Card is approximately 1 year old. My CPU, accompanying fan and power pack are closing on 5 years old however, but they have not shown any other signs of packing in or any faults.

I am a noob at this kind of thing, so even a list of potential faults would be super helpful, because other than overheating I have no idea what my problem could be! If any more info is required I can certainly get it.

Cheers
