So following Uanime5s guide

Problem 1 (Fixed-Ish)
problem #2.
Okay so I am trying simple basic exports through BoB to do some testing because I keep getting errors:
Test#1
I can successfully change the region layer in 3dsmax , I made Echizen go a little further into Omi and then vice versa, Ive managed to replicate this multiple times and its working. Biggest issue here was making sure I did Cntrl+A and then "export selected" not "export" the later would bring all the hidden layers with resulting in an error in BoB, but i have this working now.
Test #2
I CAN NOT get a mountains.CS2 to work. It makes it through BoB with no errors , nothing I could find in the orange area of regions.esf in bob at all. But when I launch the game, and try to start a scenario, the game crashes.
All I did was:
Hide and freeze all other layers except mountains.CS2
Take Mountain74 and scale and shrink it down to be much smaller.
Control+A and export selected.
The file size seems close enough to the vanilla mountains.cs2 that it should work.
I've tried this with my regions.cs2 and a vanilla.cs2 same error.

Any idea why this would fail?
---This was fixed by using the new files and making a new startpos with them. I didnt realize there was pathfinding items in the startpos, and prior to this was only launching the game with new campaign_maps esfs.
Test #3
Changing campaign_playable_areas (size to -320, 320, -320 and 320) results in BoB failing during process region map. (really changing it to any size fails)
In BoB under raw data i went to database/campaignmap_playable_areas and selected all (could have just done jap_shogun but whatever) then under working data I also selected the text folders path for playable areas.
This is done with all Vanilla CS2 files, or modded ones, same error.
Heres some screens,

So ed up why do mountains not work like regions did, and why cant i change something as simple as playable areas...
