    Hello,

    I've just recently gotten started with Unit Skinning using the Variant Editor. Learning it all was a little difficult at first, but now I feel better about it.

    I am helping out with a mod now and my task currently is to skin the General Units for the factions. The problem I'm running into is I can't figure out why I can't have a belt on the unit for example and then put a scabbard (sheath for the sword) it deletes the belt. Basically, overwrites it. I asked one of the Mod Devs about it too and I'm asking on this forum in case you guys might know something he doesn't.

    TL;DR - How do I exactly combine different parts together if it is possible?

    You probably already figured this out but I wanted to share my input.

    I haven't been modding for long but from my understanding if you put more than one item in a slot it will randomly choose from the items when it generates the unit. So if you want a guaranteed item, put it in a unique slot. If you want your units to variate include different items in the same slot.
