Thanks. I looked into that third picture a bit of the OP in search of that stabbing weapon and I found an actual picture of one (I thought it'd be about as large as a gladius but it's actually much larger).

You can see it clearly in the center there.

The source refers to it as a "Moorish Boarding Sword" (14th - 15th centuries), so I assume it was mainly used by sailors, marines, naval soldiers, etc.? Not sure if it's worth including in the mod, but it's certainly something unique.

OH YES. Absolutely beautiful shield design, just look at that one towards the left on the third pic. I love their head gear and outfits too! Totally reminds me of the Renaissance

Can't wait until we get to see the total roster

It will truly be one of the most unique rosters and when it is complete almost all important medieval cultures will have a representative faction from Scandinavia to the Rus and all of the east plus now the wonderful and only truly western muslims, the Almoravids.

Those units add a really distinct feel. Well done.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

I posted the finished t2 roster on our private dev forum, intending to release a polished preview here....and then the horrors of life happened. Theres gonna be nothing from me for the next few weeks until I get to a spot where I can do any substantial mod work again.

Sorry, blame the Portuguese (they're always up to something...)

Ah man! Must've sucked when you realized what happened, lmao. You didn't lose Boabdil's sallet as well, did you? Now that would be horrific
