Game Crashes Loading In

Having this issue and I'm not sure why. The mod actually worked before, but when I went to play it the other day, the sounded distorted on the opening loading screen, then froze. And I mean it froze HARD. Couldn't alt+tab, couldn't close the program with the task manager. I had to do a hard reset. This happened 4 times in a row, even after uninstalling not only the mod, but ALL of my mods for Medieval II and even the vanilla game, then reinstalling everything from scratch.

Should be noted I use Windows 10.

OK, so, since I can find out how to edit my post, I'm posting my temporary fix that I've found with what I've done by digging around. It seems the intro video, for whatever reason, is the cause. I've set my launcher to skip movies with the -nm command, spaced after the quotation marks under "Properties" and "Target". After that the mod plays fine, but any mod that works on Rise of the Three Kingdoms may want to check to see what issues the opening may cause.
