Just discovered this mod, but looks fantastic! Keep up the great work!
Can't wait to see Britanny. I'm particularly interested to see other custom settlements, too.

I must clarify that the "overhaul" will be with France as I have done yet again some more research and I had particular units such as "Franc-Archers" out of the mods time frame.. Now I have units like "Garde Ecossaise" (Scots Guards) and Pavesiers etc.. Units have been re-worked.. Re-structured as well as before I had 13th and 14th centuries. Now, I have 3 eras (XIII, XIV, XV centuries represented, hopefully I will have France updated this week, if not next..) With this new structure in place the other factions like Brittany and Burgundy will be a breeze to texture, as I won't have to keep tinkering with models, and I have many texture bases complete.. I'm sure you all will enjoy this upcoming update.
After those 3 mentioned factions are previewed I will get back to custom settlements, and get after my stronghold/fort models.
Good evening guys,
I have recently promised a unit update for France, however it will be slightly postponed due to work, and not being able to complete all new textures in time. Good news is I have recently welcomed jurcek1987 to help me with animations and skeleton implementation for Albion's units!
All this to say It has been a long time since I've shown any map updates.. Over the last while (in my spare, spare, spare time ) I have been totally overhauling the map of Albion with realistic topography (heights) and taking extra time to paint features to map_ground_types.
Here is a peak at some new work on the strat map;
white cliffs of dover w/ Dover & Canterbury Castles:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Argyll w/ Ben Nevis in the Scottish highlands, including painted lakes for more eye candy:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Will continue working on those units shortly,
'Night all.
WOW, each one of your updates blows me away, Zantorian ^^.

If you fight near one of those lakes, will the battle take place near a lake too?

Technically, I don't believe so, But what I am doing is just setting custom_tiles to the choke points/where armies would mostly clash beside the lakes (where the bridge crossing is in the highlands photo for instance). In the vanilla M2 version there are already lake_a, lake_b, lake_c custom settlements
P.S, You must realize the decision to use painted lakes was in fact due to having higher elevations (especially the highlands).. Putting actual 'sea' lakes there they would sink the elevations everywhere, warp the map, and look like hell.
There's loads going on behind the scenes, but just like mount and blade bannerlord, you going to have to wait for something solid.
