    Phenomenal looking unit. I love how they have the two roses on their visors. You really are doing an outstanding job with this faction.

    And just like that, England has the most beautiful roster once again! Along with maybe the turkish revamp. Amazing work man! I'd love to see most of western Europe look similar!

    @knight: thank you man!
    @visarion : thanks!
    @robtim92 : Much appreciated! Well, do not forget that without these models I cannot make these units. The credits must also be with the modelers, creators, founders and the team members help/feedback.
    cheers!

    Could we get another screenshot of the tier 3 longbowmen showing us a frontal view of them please?

    Also some things I'd like to point out that seem odd to me:
    1. The tier 3 retinue longbowmen seem to be carrying their buckler shields on their backs which seems odd to me, as I would expect bucklers to be worn on the belt aside the sword.
    2. Some of the tier 3 longbow units using gauntlets also seems weird to me. Wouldn't they be really impractical for firing a bow?
    3. One of the tier 2 billmen is not wearing any trousers which looks very silly and impractical.

    About the bucklers, it's an Attila animation for archer units to put their shields on their backs. We could rig shields to the side of the belt or something but then it would only be a prop and the shield won't be held in combat. That's just the way it is. I agree with your other points though. Mail gauntlets are fine for archers but metal gauntlets would hinder the archer's effectiveness, plus the fact that he doesn't really need it. And about the naked leg, I would restrict it to peasants or similar entities (and only occasionally at that) since people who can afford bascinets and gauntlets can afford pants as well

    1. Hessam explained it.
    2. I'm agree wearing metal gauntlets must be very awkward to use bow and arrow with. That's why for me, I avoid giving archers gauntlets, and I tell others to avoid them as well. However, there are manuscripts that shown Longbowmen with gauntlets, perhaps Banskie based them on it.

    Still, I still believe it's not something an archer would like to wear.
    3. It must've been a Welsh mixed in into the unit's variant. Not sure if deliberate or not on banskie's part

    Interesting. Then I guess their use is justified on Banskie's part.

    When you fire arrows at a target, you don't wear wrist guards for protection? Your arm and/or hand gets bruised from the bow string. Gauntlets shouldn't be strange.

    People usually use leather bracers on the inner-side of the bow hand, and thumb ring/ 2-finger leather glove in the drawing hand; not metal gauntlets. Wearing metal gauntlet in bow hand might be rather plausible, but archers would usually try to wear something less likely to foul their release in the drawing hand.

    Ian Heath commented on the depiction of Longbowmen wearing metal gauntlets in that manuscript as "surprising" (he still made them wearing said gauntlets in his books' illustration), adding that leather gloves are something that are more to his expectations.

    Well, I could simply remove the plate gauntlets. Just barehands and mail gauntlet variations will be left.

    I wouldn´t use an hourglass gauntlet when shooting a 120# or higher longbow or any bow. The chances of the bowstring hitting the rim of the gauntlet would just be too high. Then you effectively just stopped your bow , potentially damaging the string and also if you think of it a string that hits the gauntlet at sich a high speed with such a force could even dislocate your wrist.
    If people feared that the string might hit their forearm and wore protection then a gauntlet is far more likely to be hit
