Trojan horse/virus in the new GemFX installer?

I downloaded the newest installer from the patreon site, and it gives me a positive on the virus scan:




Can anyone tell me more about this? It doesn't sound like a false positive since it literally has ''Trojan'' in the name.

I noticed the same thing. Tis' unfortunate. Going to wait until the developer can comment on it.

Hello to both of you. If you followed the link on the Patreon page then there is nothing to worry about.
Those files and the ones that have been existing on TWCenter are identical.
Therefore, this is a false positive probably trigger by this being an exe file (though it is just a self extracting package).

Make sure to not download GemFX files from other source, since I cannot guarantee for their integrity.
