I know everyone has been patiently waiting for our Hellenic Overhaul and we hope to have it ready for release soon. We anticipate it will be done in the next couple weeks. We originally started with a few ideas for Macedon and Epirus, but it quickly grew to be the largest single overhaul we have done yet. Along with the hellenic overhaul, 1.2.1 will include many other changes and bug fixes, so now is a good time to transition 1.2 from a "beta" to a full release. This thread is here to explain the process and let everyone know what to expect.

With the full release of 1.2, a few things will be happening:
1. I will be updating the Steam version of the mod. This means that any current Steam campaigns will not be save compatible with the new update. The new Steam version will probably have 2 more parts for a total of 8 parts. Right now Steam is version 1.1, so if you want to continue any current campaigns using the Steam version of the mod I recommend getting the 1.1 standalone found in our download thread. I will also start updating the various Steam submods as I can.
2. 1.2.1 in general will not be save friendly, even with current 1.2 campaigns. The reason for this is that we are changing reform units for various factions, changing some buildings to fix issues and reworking some other things that will cause some save issues. You can technically still use 1.2 saves with 1.2.1, but you will have some problems. These problems include the possibility of finding blank building slots (due to disabled buildings) and incorrect reform units in your campaigns.
3. The standalone version will have both parts updated, so you will need to redownload both part 1 and 2.
This is not the final version of 1.2 but it will be our full release version at this time. We will continue working on things and have some surprises planned for the near future. Thanks to everyone here for helping to fix hundreds of bugs and improve 1.2 to the wonderful place it is today. This community's help in perfecting the mod over the past few months has really turned it into a very polished work that we are all very proud of. I am sure I can speak for the team when I say we really appreciate the support.
