Hi,
Is it possible for a christian faction like Sicily after it captures Jerusalem
to train units like Foot Knights of Jerusalem and Canons of the Holy Sepulcher or is this not possible?
Thanks!

No, only the Crusader States can recruit those units. You could however modify the export_descr_buildings.txt file to allow other factions to recruit Canons of the Holy Sepulcher (and/or other units) after capturing certain settlements.
Thanks very much!

canons of the holy sepulcher and jerusalem foot knights dont have the battle models for other factions though
so you will have to edit battle_models too, also enable ownership in export_descr_units.txt, oh and btw also dont forget to give them the unit cards too, ah and add the unit info too
you better go see a tutorial on how to add existing units to other factions cause there's quite a bit of work if you wanna do it properly xD
Yeah there seems to be some work involved. I thought it would be nice as a christian faction when capturing Jerusalem to be able to train some of the crusader states specific units... oh well. Thanks for the reply.
You can still at least recruit Templar or Hospitaler infantry and cavalry with ownership of places like Jerusalem, Acre, a couple places in France, Antioch and I forget the name of the place just south of Antioch.
Honest and truly, I AM Robin Hood!
Indeed the dismounted Templar and Hospitaller are very nice units!
IIRC, the hard part is the unit rosters are full/limited for each faction. So u would need to delete some units from the default roster of a faction to add the crusader states unqiue specific units. So like if you wanted every nation to have canons or another unique crusader states unit, you would need to delete a unit from each roster. (aka spearman, or archer, or peasant or somesuch) then add it in.
