    hello I have a bit of a problem I installed all three parts and followed the instructions in the install videos but when I go into custom battles there are no siege battles and when I try to set one up its says the game had an un specified error and crashed. did I mess up the install somewhere or have a corrupted file?

    What Gigantus said. The mod does not support custom settlements in custom battles.

    You can play custom battles, just not in custom settlements. Go here.

    Now, this is a little bit interesting. I'd applied all that advice before with respect to kingdoms.exe, but had ignored medieval2.exe. After now applying that same advice to medieval2.exe, and bumping my resolution back up, I now have a stable experience - at least, I think I do, over 30 turns without any random crashes.

    Hey guys. First I would like to thank you for such an amazing submod - DaC easily became a "must have" submod for me.

    The crash always happens during Mordor's turn, after every other faction has moved/acted normally. I've tried going to the export_descr_buildings file and finding whatever might be causing this, but no luck so far.

    Anyone willing to help me decipher this thing?

    The EDB errors are false positives caused by the custom settlement set up - it won't cause a crash.
    There is a two minute gap between the last log entry and the crash - an eternity. Change your log to trace, run the game again until the crash, compress the log (it will be several MB) and upload it.
    Setting the log to trace is simple: open the mod's CFG file with notepad and change the [log] section entry from error to trace: level = * trace

    The last 50 lines seem to point at an unsuccessful AI siege and a disbanding of garrison units after the siege, together with a number of traits given to the participating army leaders:

    21:41:35.129 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <Battle_Siege_Attacker_Lost> fired
    21:41:35.129 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <Battle_General_Took_Hits> fired
    21:41:35.129 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <battle6a> fired
    21:41:35.129 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <BadCommander_Add> fired

    You could try and disable those triggers one at a time to see if either of these causes the crash - your log is only 7 minutes long so I am assuming you have a save just before his crash.

    The triggers should be from traits and can be found in the export_descr_character_traits file, use the term in brackets to locate the trigger. Make a back up the file first! Then place a semi-colon in front of each line of that trigger, example:

    No guarantee however that this might help - it could still be something else, but this was the last reference.

    Playing as Isengard, Kept the ring. 8 of the Nazgul have arrived (Just missing the witch-king) when I got a message saying one of them had come back to life. I now have 2 of Akhorahil the Blind Sorcerer and 9 Nazgul in total. Will this effect my ability to get the witch-king?

    anyone encounter crash when ending tuen i did readt the first post before anyone asks but im getting crashes as elves imladris during principality of dol amroth turn.
    They are not sieging at all just moving armies around their territory and putting armies inside thier cities i dont know whats going on dont want to start new campaign though doing well.

    The bug is known and has already been fixed in the future 2.0 version. In fact Isengard has quite a few bugs in 1.2 that have all been fixed for a while now.
    And no, it won't affect your ability to get the Witch-king.

    No problem. Also sorry to keep you and everyone else waiting, but 2.0 is months away from being ready as there is still a massive amount of work to be done.
    It will be well worth the wait though.

    The Dunedain can recruit Rhun units through the beacon of hope system in 2.0 according to files. It must have been an oversight in 1.2.

    Ciao, ho un problema, ho provato a installare la patch 1.2 ben 3 volte e sempre correttamente come visto dai video di gau, come posso risolvere il problema, bloccare e lanciare immediatamente il gioco che sto utilizzando la versione del disco, ho fatto tutte le patch Le procedure di installazione per la versione del disco e non vapore, no non vedo il menu principale, ma solo lo schermo di caricamento del gioco, non riesco neanche a raggiungere il menu principale che si blocca comunque e tutto pulito There aren't mods or subomods

    Hi, I have a problem, I tried installing the patch 1.2 well 3 times and always correctly as seen from gau videos, how can i fix it, block and launch the game i'm using the disk version immediately, i did all the Patch Installation steps for disk version and non-steam, no i do not see the main menu but only the game upload screen i can not even reach the main menu that still locks and everything clean There are no mods Or subomods

    While I was playing as Rohan I noticed a small texture bug, Eomer's sword had no texture for the hilt.
