    Default Road Textures Covering the Entire Battlemap

    So I have just made a fort have a custom map (Dunharrow) everything worked fine and I could fight on the map EXCEPT the entire map was covered in the road texture. No grass, rocks, snow or anything just road; as far as the eye can see. Does anybody know what would govern this? I thought that the type of terrain was generated from the world map but a road should run through not cover the whole thing?


    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yup - you're missing the mask file which governs the area where the road texture is applied - wrong/name or location.

    The name/location is inside the .worldterrain file. In IWTE click 'Terrain 1' tab - and 'Amend WT Mask TGA paths'
    either move/rename the mask to where it says in there, or change the path and save the new .worldterrain file.

    (worldterrain file location is called from the .world file see 'worldfiles' tab 'update referenced paths' incase you're not actually using the correct terrain file)
