[Recruiting 3D Modellers] Rise of Mordor - Total War: Attila
As some of you may know, Rise of Mordor is a Lord of the Rings mod for Total War: Attila. In January we released a closed alpha of 42 units. Since then however, development has been slow due to real life factors for the entire team.
As such, we're looking for new blood to rejuvenate and speed up the development. Specifically, we are in need of 3D modellers and animators who are prepared to **work for free** and are willing to dedicate substantial amounts of their time to creating an amazing mod. We're looking for people to create high quality unit models, building/environment models and animations for creatures such as trolls and mumakil.
General requirements:
- Willing to register on Trello for purposes of collaboration
- A working e-mail address
- An active Steam account
- Ability to work at least two days a week
- Proper English language skills
- Volition to push the project forward
- No hesitation to enter new environments in the world of game development and game modification
- Huge interest in the universe of "The Lord of the Rings"
General preferences:
- Experience in working on a free (not paid) project
- Previous game modding experience
- Ability to make constructive suggestions / to present individual ideas
Requirements for 3D Modellers:
- Basic knowledge of 3ds Max, ZBrush/Mudbox and Photoshop
- Understanding of the High-To-Low-Poly-Workflow and normal map creation
- PBR texturing skills
- Passion to create the highest content quality possible
- Willing to strengthen the existing modelling and texturing skills
- Experience in rigging biped skeletons
- Ability to work with content creation guidelines and concepts
