    Looks great like usual

However, I would replace the Svan hats and head wraps with something more historically plausible. Also the equipments on the Mtieli units is outside the mod's timeline

ooh la la sexy as hell. You never stop raising the bar my friend.

p.s. My only concern here is that the roster looks too heavy as a whole. There's too much metal in there.

Will there be Alan, Circassian, Khabardian, Dzurdzuk, Simsir, Lesghian (Vainak-Vaynakh or Nakh), Kevshur (Kartlian), Lak Kumukh (Avar), Shirvanian-Turkoman Ak Qoyunlu (Alvanian-Albanian-Baku), Armenian, Abkhazian and Derbent-Daghestan units as well?

Ltd, if you are struggling for variation, I would apply some tunics that cover over armour as seen in Persian/Timurid/Iranian manuscripts. I believe Khevsur provided some manuscript examples of Georgians wearing tunics over armour. The plate mail can also be colored brass or bronze if you want to further distance from the usual steel grey. The tier 3 stuff is great, but I think there is a lack of color variation for a potential colorful military. Not your fault since we lack Byzantine assets, and other Eastern European aesthetics.

Also, be aware that Levy and Militia units should have a tier 1-3 progression due to the manpower script feature that Causeless is working on.

I probably need to remake some of the Georgian helmets.

Even the new shields are worth one separate roster. Not only the most time was spent on this roster by you Ltd. but this is the most detailed roster in my opinion.
Although, let me bother you with my pm once more. I have several things to make the roster even better. Also, Sly i will pm you too, as i see you may help Ltd.

What's the connection between Tier 1-3 progression with manpower script? If there's no progression in history at Levy and Militia level, its not necessarily have to be made in the mod. Also, Tier progression doesn't have to be 1-2-3, it can be just 2-3, or 1-3 because the change was historically happened in the late period, for instance.

Hmm, colors, colors, maybe some units can be sprinkled with cloak variants - but Ltd might not necessarily like cloaks in battle, perhaps.

What concerns me more is the limitation of retexturing Attila's cataphract barding, it does not always fit:

    1. Chamfrons. We need Middle-Eastern styled chamfron models. For example:
    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped..._Lyon_D377.jpg
    https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...fe3fc8b342.jpg
    Notice the hinged/hooped cheekplates.

    2. Criniere. Notice the huge gap on the horse's nape that our armoured warhorses got. The problem is our newly-made chamfrons are not exact fits with Attila's cataphract criniere. We should create new criniere model that can cover the horse's neck all over and fits with our new chamfrons.

    3. Hind protection. Attila cataphract barding model are well-armoured, however it does not have tailguard and Croupiere, meaning the horse's butt are unarmoured. Sly's European Plate Barding of western europaean warhorses do have croupiere, but not our middle eastern styled ones. For illustration:

    https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...764db25557.jpg
    http://www.iranicaonline.org/img/v2/v2f5a004_f6_300.jpg

You can see the horse's butt are protected all-round by pieces separate from the flanchard.

Well YGW, I was tired typing in the middle of the night. Still, I agree with the idea that we should have a 1-3 tier progression of Levies and Militia. It looks silly when units from previous technological time periods fight alongside the later units. Plus you miss out on the importance of militia and levy unit development over time. I assume that some of the units are militia in background?

Also, I never ever think of cloaks or capes when it comes to units. Eastern factions including the Byzantines follow up on the trend of wearing a fancy tunic over their armours like you see in the late Persian depictions of armies.

I notice the amout of labour of love put into this. Good job. I'd call it the Silver Army.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

To say that statement would require an amount of proof that I think is impossible to come up with.

I am sorry Khevsur, but you people are not making any sense at all. You all agreed back in the day, that Tadzreuli had axes, maces and swords. You all agreed that monaspa are heavy cavalry. You all agreed that Aznauri are medium cavalry. You all agreed that monaspa was the guard unit.
I literally made ALL shields based on your drawings and the pictures of frescoes you have posted. The pictures of helmets you are posting here you only came up with the last days when the roster was more or less done.
I am not going to constantly rework rosters , helmets, shields and everything. The roster looks the way it looks. Noone was around back then and noone knows exactly how soldiers and units looked. There was no uniformity and people , if possible, did definitely use stuff that they could lay their hands on.
This is a game and variation is needed.
Nitpicking on every single aspect of the units is just getting worse by the day.
I constantly received PMs from the various georgian members telling me even entirely contradictory information. I wonder whether you guys even agreed at all.
At some point you guys need to accept, that this is a game.

Wonderful roster! I think the issue is that sometimes when there isn't enough historical evidence people start interpreting the missing bits differently.

Why do you guys never post front page announcements? I think that is a good way to let people know that don't come to the forum regularly.
