Stats of Side Arms

Where does the game find the stats of side arms, such as Katanas for Yari wielding units? The only ones I found were the archers - because they only have one melee weapon. But where can I mod the secondary weapon of units that have two melee weapons?

Separate stats for side arms? I always assumed melee_attack was for all melee weapons regardless if it was a primary weapon and secondary weapon. In other words, I always thought yari units switching to swords in close quarter combat was just a cosmetic thing.

RTW and M2TW had seperate stats for secondary weapons. This is a different engine, but I would expect it to be that way in Shogun 2 too.
