    Hey buddy.
Well, I can assure you that FX is a great CPU for multitasking and media, but not so good for CPU demanding games like Rome 2 and that because Total War games heavily burden the first 4 cores and usually need raw force like over 4.5ghz. My clocked 7700K (5ghz) has zero stuttering. Just the usual engine's fps drops when zooming on extreme settings 1440p.
    Y
our card is perfectly fine but be aware that Warscape is a more CPU based engine anyways. Υοu're playing on 1440p resolution, right ? Well try on 1080p. Are you trying to play on higher hz maybe ?

Since most users reported very much improved fps and almost no stuttering, I would suggest re trying step 6, verify your games caches and try with fewer units to reduce the textures on screen. Plus water on low, sky on low and shadows not over very high. Let me know of your results.

    PS
Your page file is almost full btw and huge. You don't need that with 32 giga RAM.

Are emblems mods still a bad idea to use with DEI?

If there is no scripts or other changes except the emblems, then you should be good to go.

Guys, i've recently, get the freezes constantly in the battle. The battle goes on, just the screen freezes, i can still command my units and make changes in menu blindly. I'm not posting this is in the beta thread cause im not sure it's the beta problem. I'm using Win 10, Radeon RX 470, i5 2500k 4.3 Ghz. I've checked the temperatures of CPU and GPU, they are fine, other games run brilliantly, it's only Rome 2 DeI that has problems. I didn't try rome 2 vanilla just yet. Do you know any solution to this problem?

Hey Greek Strategos. Could I ask for some advice on tweaks, in reponse to the new beta graphical updates. For example, do I need to tone down certain settings further, like water and shadows? I don't want to be sacrificing further FPS. Running on a i7-4790k (4.7GHZ), GTX 1080, 16GB RAM. Thank you.

    Hey buddy,
I haven't checked performance after the update tbh, but I'm quite sure the updated AA will certainly impact (even a bit) your game since CA's implementations of Anti Aliasing were always problematic. If you see issues with your fps just disable AA from ingame settings and use nvidia's panel or the old and trustworthy reshade-sweetfx solution. I will have more info and possibly a few tweaks for your as soon as I check the new AA.

Make sure to check enable out of date mods and the script options that will follow in the launcher.
