    Default New environments

    Hi, I've improved the Roma Surrectum environments before, but I'm now starting from scratch. I already made a climate map and a few tree models.

    With my new climate system you will not see palm trees in central Asia, also the nile valley and Mesopotamia will be a lot greener. Furthermore there will be a realistic snowline when it's winter.

    That looks very interesting! What is that software that you are using to edit the climates?

    I use multiple programs: Gimp, 3ds Max, Squid's descr_geography.db editor, notepad++, etc.

    Great! At the moment I'm actually doing some mapping myself, too. Though it's for Medieval 2 and my only concern are geopolitics, so no changing climates, altitudes, etc.

    It is useful to have a tool such as Geomod, though that one, as far as I know, works only with Medieval 2, not with Rome.

    So, the map you posted above was made in Gimp, right?
