Default Re: Procedures, Medals and Punishments

We remind you that the rules of picture competitions prohibit the use of cutscenes as competition submissions.

So, what do we consider cutscenes and why are we against their use as submissions?

Cutscene is screen from any in-game video that is present in the gameplay. Normally, you can't interact with characters or items in the game when a video occurs. But in modern games, you can freeze the game during the video and use the built-in camera to make screens.

The engines that are used in games for in-game video can be different, and sometimes the graphics in the game and in-game video are almost the same, but, as a rule, the graphics and drawing of characters in in-game videos are much better than in normal gameplay.

Therefore, we believes that the use of cut scenes in picture competitions contradicts the spirit of fair competition and puts participants in obviously not equal conditions, also such a screen can not be considered unique. Based on these considerations, we can very clearly say that the placement of any cutscenes in the threads for competition submissions is a violation of the rules and such screens will be removed from the voting.
