1648 V2.0 executable not working

Hi, I'm using the disc version of M2TW and Kingdoms and I've just downloaded and installed this mod using the instructions on this forum. However, while the base game and kingdoms are working fine, the .exe for 1648 doesn't seem to do much for me.

Looking at the task manager, I get a process called '1648 konfiguration' which lasts for 5-10 seconds before it dissapears.

I'm using windows 8.1 if that's relevant.

The executable needs web access to the Infracta site, which has been down for a couple of days for unknown reasons.

Until that problem can be resolved, you can start the mod in offline mode. Make a text file called 1648_offline_mode.bat inside your 1648 folder. Inside it copy the lines

cd ..\..
start kingdoms.exe @mods\1648\Configuration.cfg

That will launch the mod.

Hopefully, Infracta can be revived in the not too distant future.
