Default How to open .markers file?

Hey guys, hope someone can help. I am busy with a campaign map, but how do you create bridges? I mean i know how in 3ds max, but how can you appear one on the campaign map itself. I know there is a bridges.markers file and when i open it with a Hex editor, i can see all the names of the bridges that are on the campaign map.
