i want to translate russian mod which files i need?

Hi guys , i want to translate russian mod which files i need? At the same time i dont know any thing about russian language . Can i depend on translate sites ?

data/text needs translating, everything in data/world pretty much too... not sure if you're doing names of units but then it's descr_model unit, descr_model_battle, all the sound files (if they added unit sounds)... descr_model_buildings... that's a tonne of work - I'd recommend getting notepad++ too but I'd definitely keep a back-up expecting it all not work if you're not too sure which files to edit to begin with. I mean kinda countless. descr_model_strat, descr_mode_banners too.. you get the idea.
