    Default bushmonster's Modding Projects

    This is a personal project of mine, rather than a submod but I thought I could share some of my work with the Third Age community. Even though I do not intend to release these units as a submod for TATW I would be more than glad to share this work with someone who does. So if anyone is interested in using these units (the ones that I do have permission to release) in their mod, feel free to PM me.

    I will try to update this thread as often as possible with all of the units done up until that point.

    I have a script that does normals, and I have permissions from like everyone ever. I'll do them when you get around to uploading them. Just remind me if I forget.

    I think you should give those wings something that supports them to the helmet, otherwise they just look like "glued" to it. The belt could use a bit more work (I think it's maybe the texture size, perhaps it's too small to expand the belt) Otherwise it's a good job!

    It adds back units who were deleted from the campaign in MOS 1.7, namely the Winged Swordsmen, the Citadel Guard Archers and the Gondor Dismounted Bodyguard.

    If you have photoshop, this plug in does excellently

    https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-...dobe-photoshop

    and the spec map is as simple as ctrl+u on the texture map, desaturating the color, and painting black anythign that isnt supposed to be shiny paste it right on the Alpha 1 channel

    I'm actually using GIMP for my texture editing and I do have a placeholder normal map and alpha channel that looks good on every unit.
